Ms. Dahlberg’s environmental engineering responsibilities include project management, civil design and construction inspection, asbestos surveys and lead-based paint abatement project design, preparation of Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments, environmental sampling and monitoring, pollutant loading studies, and QA/QC of laboratory analytical data. Her construction inspection background includes underground utilities, reservoirs, pump stations, road and parking lot construction, structural concrete, and building construction. Ms. Dahlberg has 16 years of experience in the engineering field.

Ms. Gann joined us in August 2006. She has worked as a Biomonitoring Coordinator and as an Enforcement Coordinator for the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality. In these positions, she has tracked industrial and municipal wastewater facilities for whole effluent toxicity (WET) testing, logged and reviewed laboratory reports of WET tests, checked lab reports and discharge monitoring reports for consistency and accuracy, and reviewed procedures as well as raw data with statistics and QA/AC tests for WET testing. Here at CDI, she is an associate environmental professional assisting in site investigations and cleanup, indoor sampling, mold sampling, and AHERA building surveys for asbestos containing materials.

Mr. Haavig’s environmental professional responsibilities include contaminated site investigations and clean-up, RCRA hazardous waste transport and disposal, coordinating the annual household hazardous waste programs in Southeast Alaska communities, developing and implementing environmental sampling programs for air, water, and soil, as well as indoor environments, Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments, developing industrial storm water management plans, and providing hazardous waste operations and response training courses geared toward rural communities. Ms. Johnson’s responsibilities include all accounting duties for the office (including payroll, project tracking reports, monthly billings, receipts, payables, and tax management), managing the CDI library, managing computer network repair issues, supporting project staff, and developing and maintaining CDI's website. As a life-long resident of Juneau with over 25 years of experience in engineering offices, she plays a valuable role in interfacing with the public and clients as CDI's initial point of contact.
