Text Box: Carson Dorn, Inc. is a Juneau-based engineering firm providing environmental and civil engineering services. Since the office in Juneau first opened in 1978, our staff has participated in over 400 projects with a total value well in excess of $300,000,000. Jim Dorn and Tom Carson are principals in the firm, and each have over 25 years of engineering experience locally in Juneau, regionally in Southeast Alaska, and throughout the state. Tom is principal in charge for environmental projects, while Jim is responsible for civil projects. In addition to Jim and Tom, CDI’s talented professional staff includes an experienced civil designer, an environmental engineer, three environmental professionals, a CAD designer, and an administrative professional.
